New warehouse helps Aztek deal with sustained period of growth

We have sealed the deal on our sixth warehouse to support a period of extended growth.

The new 20,000 sq. ft warehouse is located in Arlesey, next to our already-established 30,000 sq. ft warehouse and just a stone’s throw from our main site in Letchworth Garden City.

This investment brings our total warehousing capacity to an impressive 150,000 sq. ft, increasing our overall warehouse space by more than 13 per cent.

Despite the external challenges brought on by Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic, we recently experienced our busiest-ever month in 20 years of trading. We have also invested in our now 40-strong fleet, purchasing some of the highest-specification vehicles in the industry and hired new employees to help manage the demand.

Our founder and managing director, Stuart Charter said: “Acquiring the additional warehouse space is just the next phase of growth for us here at Aztek.

“We’ve been experiencing a steady increase in our customer base over the last 18 months, reaching milestones we never thought possible with everything that was going on in the world. In the coming months we will also be investing in our rigid fleet and new additional trailers.

“With Covid-19 taking up a lot of headspace over the last two years, we are now able to look to the future rather than managing the crisis of the moment and continue with our investment and expansion plans for a bigger and brighter 2022 and beyond. It’s a very exciting time for us here at Aztek.”
