Aztek Logistics Warehouse Manager Wins UKWA Award

Congratulations to our warehouse manager Tomasz Pietrak-Owazany who was named UKWA’s Warehouse Manager of the Year at this year’s prestigious awards ceremony in London.

Tomasz began his career with Aztek in 2013 as a warehouse operative and was soon promoted to warehouse supervisor, taking on more responsibility for the operational and health and safety elements involved with running a thriving 3PL warehouse.

After his promotion to warehouse manager in 2014, Tomasz has made a considerable impact on the effective running of the Aztek warehouse operation by adopting the necessary quality management procedures and improving company service levels.

The UKWA judges recognised Tomasz’s understanding of bespoke client requirements, his in-depth knowledge of customer’s products and his determination to develop effective warehousing processes.

Aztek’s founder and Managing Director, Stuart Charter, praised Tomasz for the way he has fully embraced the company ethos of working safely, efficiently and effectively, whilst at the same time creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for his warehouse team.

Well done Tomasz! We would also like to congratulation Sam Smith who was selected by UKWA as a finalist for the Junior Manager Award.
