‘Hands, Face and Space’ may form part of the government’s anti-Covid information campaign, but Hertfordshire-based Aztek Logistics has become the living embodiment of the drive to keep Britain’s shops safe by delivering thousands of sanitiser stations and ‘sneeze screens’ to some of the UK’s biggest retailers.
Working on behalf of one of the UK’s leading shop fitting companies, Aztek has been delivering the vital equipment in line with Government advice to brands including Currys PC World, Marks & Spencer, Morrisons and Tesco, to keep shoppers and staff safe.
The Letchworth business, which is part of the award-winning Pallet-Track network, has delivered the equipment to more than 2,500 locations and has also stored vital PPE free of charge on behalf of its local NHS ambulance trust.
“It’s been an extremely busy time for us as the Covid regulations and requirements have changed throughout the pandemic,” said Aztek managing director Stuart Charter.
“We have been delivering across the country. It’s a time critical operation at a difficult time and, as everyone knows, retailers work around the clock.
“We had to make sure we delivered on time for our client and the retailers who need to ensure customers and staff are safe on time, every time, as everything is happening in real-time and in the teeth of a global pandemic.
“In our business, we have to be ready to take on the unexpected at any time and we’re truly delighted everything has gone so smoothly.”
